Petrochemical Industries Erection & Construction Company

    Erection and Construction Co. (ECC) was established in August 1989 to carry out major construction projects and also to transfer suitable and modern technologies of Oil, Gas, and Petrochemical industries. Shareholders of ECC are: Petrochemical Industries Design & Engineering Co. (PIDEC) (49%) and Employees (51%). ECC having capable engineers and skillful technicians is one of the leading Iranian companies in the field of construction. ECC has successfully executed and completed numerous Mega projects in Iran. In the course of executing the projects, ECC tries its best to be efficient, cost effective, and responsive to the clients’ requirements and expectations. ECC policy is to gain the clients’ satisfaction by offering decent quality services, developing and utilizing resources, honoring human values, assuring safe execution of the works, and completing the projects on time.


    Moreover, ECC has a subsidiary company called Petrochemical Industries Design and Engineering Co. (PIDEC) which is a leading engineering company in Iran. PIDEC was established in 1985 and was acquired by ECC in 1994 in order to have and achieve the technical capability for executing the projects on EPC basis. PIDEC is equipped with a sophisticated computer system enjoying vast range of hardware/ software facilities which are of required for all CAD/CAE analyses and development works needed for successful completion of the projects. PIDEC was granted the ISO 9001 certificate in September 1997. In 1995, ECC bought 96 percent of the shares of Welding Industries Electrode Manufacturing Co. (WIEM), which is located in Shiraz and produces 10000 TPA of different types of welding electrodes under the license of Swedish ESAB Company. WIEM has the quality management certificate from DQS and has also obtained certificates for the quality of its products from ESAB, DNV, LLOYDS and Iran Standard Organization. ECC also utilizes the services of one of its subsidiaries, named “Parto Rahandazan Sanaat Company” for Precommissioning and Commissioning of the plants. ECC’s policy is to fulfill every project in compliance with international standards and codes, to complete a trouble - free project at a competitive price and to assure the client that permanent and meticulous attention is given to quality, safety, methods, standards, specifications, and workmanship which have impacts on a reliable plant for operation and maintenance. ECC has been awarded the following certifications by CVI ISO 9001 : 2008, Quality Management System. ISO 14001 : 2004, Environmental Management System. ISO 18001 : 2007, Occupational H & S Assessment Series Standard. HSE-MS : Health, Safety and Environment Management System. ISO/TS 29001 : 2010, QMS for Oil, Gas & Petrochemical Projects. In 2013, ECC and PIDEC with 5 Major Companies based in Fars Province of Iran Established a new company called Parsian Oil Industry Development Consortium (POIDC) for the execution of Major Projects in the field of Oil, Gas and Petrochemicals.
